SMEC Turning Centers

SMEC started as the machine tools division of Samsung Heavy Industries in Korea in 1988. They develop, manufacture and sell high quality CNC lathes for distribution in over 60 countries around the world. SMEC offers lathes in multiple configurations including live tooling, Y-Axis and Sub-spindle.

SL-SERIES

SMEC’s horizontal turning center SL-Series features standard 2-axis machines with heavy-duty box way construction. Additional configurations include; Live tooling, Y-axis and Sub-spindle. Chuck sizes range from 6″ up to 24″. All machines are equipped with a FANUC control.

SMEC’s vertical turning center SLV-Series features standard 2-axis machines with heavy-duty box way construction. Multiple configurations are available including; with or without live tooling, left/right configuration and chuck sizes range from 12″ up to 32″. All machines are equipped with a FANUC control.
